Pretty much how I feel. Astros didn't take advantage of the RISP, and the Nats really grinded with their pitching. Feels weird not having disgust for a team after a loss:patrice:maybe cause Nats fans I know have dignity and aren't shytbags like Yankee and Dodger fans :manny:

Springer clarifying why he didn't go for third

love Springer, but nah .... gotta call bullshyt on him right there :mjlol:

go back and look at the tape. he's right about Tucker going back to tag at second base, but by that time Springer would have been rounding first base and the ball had just bounced off the wall and went on to roll on the ground for several seconds. plus there are also hundreds upon hundreds of situations (and videos online) of runners catching up to one another and still moving forward. especially when you consider that in this case Tucker was going home regardless.

Springer easily had a shot at getting to third and with his speed more than likely would have made it. He is just trying to defend his dumbass decision with that statement:pachaha:

It always happens, no matter how nice you were during the regular season, the playoffs/WS is another animal! Usually the best record teams don't win it all. Nationals coming in with huge momentum and Scherzer was pitching with pure heart even though he never got in Rhythm, it was enough to prevail. These are the moments where the youngn's make a name for themselves and Juan Soto was getting his Andrew Jones on, salute to the kid :salute:

I can see the Nats getting to Verlander early in the game. They do that and Houston might just have a problem... :heh:

Ppl so shock off beating Cole. It’s still a huge population of baseball fans out there who believe that the Stros have the better starting pitching. I seriously challenge that notion. They have a rookie on the staff starting. Not to mention the postseason is about clutch hitting and the Nats lead the league in the regular season and postseason in 2out RBI’s. We had three 2out rbis last night. Those are back breakers. I seen a lot of starting pitchers look like they lost their soul thinking they were out the inning with one out left and nobody in scoring position only for the Nats to put a couple runs on that ass. You seen it last night with Cole after the Zimmerman homerun. Cole immediately sunk his head in distress.
