Props to the Nats for taking this. Cole didn't look great, but did more than enough for the Astros AB to do more than they did. Can't leave that many guys stranded on bases like that. Such an anticlimactic ending with Breg/Yuli/Correa. Also, Yordan wildly swinging was getting on my damn nerves.

it would have been a close play at third base, but he certainly had a shot to get there.

that was a rare, dumbass mistake by him. anyone who has seen him run the bases knows how good he is at making good decision. that shyt tonight was a rare fukk up.

Pretty much how I feel. Astros didn't take advantage of the RISP, and the Nats really grinded with their pitching. Feels weird not having disgust for a team after a lossmaybe cause Nats fans I know have dignity and aren't shytbags like Yankee and Dodger fans

My friend was getting on Max all game because he struggled, but I kept saying its only 2-0. He didn't have his stuff but willed himself through to get five innings. I would have preferred six, but five was good enough. Houston did not take advantage of how off he was tonight.

On the other side, I was scared the Nats weren't being patient enough against Cole because he looked off after that Zimmerman homer. When the hitters finally settled, the game was different as they took advantage of Cole's sloppiness which is what I hoped. Beating that guy in that stadium was major, especially the way they did.
