Ebro and Hot 97 finally addresses it…
i mean, thats the point of punitive damages. its supposed to punish you. its not exactly an unforeseen consequence, it should be open season as you conducted business in an open market. this guy deserves no sympathy whatsoever. If the drama led to these lawsuits without cause then it could be a “bank-run” on poor old Cesar
Ebro: Good copbut he really didn't say anything. I was hoping they DIDN'T take the high road.
ceasar is doing live's after all this????
Will be interesting to see how this all plays out in the end, Cesar is almost certainly gonna take a plea deal and do some time - he pretty much says so himself in the vid. What he said about social media and clout chasing is partially true as well. His house didnt get raided so is it really true they raided TBC? Definitely feels like a lot of it is just bandwagon jumping. Cesar definitely defrauded some people but some people also got paid out and now are pretty happy to see him take the heat.
Cesar is still saying Envy had nothing to do with the deals he did so he's probably free and clear, though I agree with Cesar that Envy's lawyer saying he's "also a victim" is a bag of lies. Envy and Cesar were partners in some deals and in the seminar business. On the other hand Cesar had some deals where he was offering crazy interest in a ponzi scheme. I dont think any DA can make the case that because you are a partner in some deals and you are famous then you have culpability for everything the other person does.
But his reputation is donezo and thats probably a fair punishment for all those who lost real money (although really if they had 2 braincells to rub together then theyd know that those rates screamed ponzi)
From the interviews i've seen.....i don't think DJ envy was trying to scam people....i think cesar sold him a dream which he believed in and it was built on a foundation of lies...breh was too naive and ruined his brand.
Envy should have known that dude was on some fugazi shyt when he told him he learnt real estate when he was in prison
Envy wasnt part of the scheme at all. Envy was in the seminar business and in some private deals with Cesar (the $500k). On the other hand Cesar also had deals with some other randoms which was a ponzi (or became a ponzi when the interest rates blew up and the flips didnt make money). How would Envy know what deals Cesar was doing that he didnt get any cut out of and he wasnt a party to and wasnt even in the room? Even in the lawsuits no one says Envy was a part of the deals, only that Envy gave Cesar clout, which I dont think is a crime.either dj envy is in the the scheme, or he's a total moron not bright enough to see that it was a blatant scheme
Sounds like manufactured "plausible deniability" to me. But we'll see what the law decides.Envy wasnt part of the scheme at all.
