Kendrick put out a Podcast last year with the entire team behind TPAB discussing the the process, inspiration, etc behind the making of that album

Interviews are no longer necessary for an artist to present themselves or their work or the process BEHIND their work to the masses

True. Artists control the medium now, and decide how and when they speak (if ever). I'm just saying there's still a value in an artist being interviewed every now and then, not just for the audience but for art itself. And not in a controlled or completely coordinated PR fashion, but with a respected journalist or person who isn't on the payroll.

I've said it before but you can watch a MJ interview from decades ago and still find insight or value in his words. Same with Miles Davis, or David Bowie, or any great artist. Different eras sure, but artists talking about art will always be important IMO.

He knows Kendrick and Cole would never sit down with him and acting like he just found out Drake laughs at him

Drake facetimed him on stream during what clb? And convinced ak to do a big shot that led to him fukking collapsing on stream

Why on earth would they sit down with a passive aggressive alcoholic

The last 3 times AK trended on social media was:

1. Screaming "I'M THE PRIZE!" while accosting a female.

2. Getting everything about the Tory Lanez trial wrong, and having to backtrack.

3. A woman, who posted herself having sex with dogs on Twitter, claimed she dated Ak and he was into it.

Why would anybody want to talk to this clown? Especially legit stars.

shyt like this is why I chuckle when people claim The Coli missed out not by continuing to associate with him. He brings nothing good to the table, publicity-wise.

Fred.

Vlad too. It's actually offensive when they call themselves "journalists"

Kendrick, Cole, and Drake era will be remembered for being the most non competitive era. They're the Bron "everyone gets a ring" era

Of course they aren't doing Hip-hop interviews
When are the Cowboys gonna get a ring in this “everyone gets a ring” era? Or even make it to a Super Bowl. :lolbron:

Yachty practically Drake’s shadow nowadays. That shyt don’t count.

And AK has turned on Drake within the last two weeks. That tells me that nikka got denied for whatever press junket Drake is lining up. Or he got denied press passes for that tour.

That ninja turtle looking nikka is petty as shyt.
You can play semantics all you want but an interview is a fukking interview. Like I kinda get the pint you guys are making g moving the goal posts m shyt but if u watch that INTERVIEW you’ll see new insight on drake like trying to retire shyt like that. Hip hop media in general is dead majority of them cater to old acts or up and coming acts. There is not a single hip hop media outlet that would be able to conduct a curated interview for popular acts. Like many others have stated they just ask messy ass questions nothing about their craft or inspirations these media outlets do interrogations instead of interviews so I don’t blame these artists for not going on certain platforms especially if they don’t need to.

Despite his clownery, Talib Kweli is an excellent interviewer. But his podcast just isn't that hot.
