I just bought this. I don't like turned based shyt, but everybody is saying this is a good game. This will hold me down until Borderlands I think

I haven't played in a minute, but I think I was around level 12. there's been a few updates since I played, and I kinda wanna start over... again
I started off with a Knight and Cleric but melee is kinda garbage in this game until you can craft Tenebrium weapons:
Got to around level 5 before I restarted with 2 mages, who are a lot more versatile early in the game, especially with environmental damage combos. After that I just rolled with the two NPCs you find, Madora and Jahan. So now I got 2 mages, a healer/mage and a warrior. Over all I try to keep a few of the same spells on each character because the combos let you "punch above your weight class", so to speak. I was level 12 killing level 16 shyt because of Midnight Oil + Fireball + Teleportation. Or Rain + Lightning Bolt +Teleportation. Enemy gets too close, drop their ass into an electrified puddle.
Jahan is mad useful because he can craft shyt. He crafted that weapon above.

This shyt is kinda bad brehs. To preface that I rarely got time these days for single player games so maybe my skills have diminished but this shyt is just awkward as fukk.
How so? The combat takes a minute to get used to but once you understand what's going on it's probably the deepest combat system ever in an RPG.
And if you got limited time this game definitely ain't for you. I put 144 hours into it, and that was with a guide towards the end.

I dunno all the menus, the inability to fukking run the game, the weird environment shyt. This some baulders gate in 2014 shyt and I'm not sure if my constitution is built for that shyt ne more. To be fair I'm not far in the game...I'm literally at the first cave where you first see posion and shyt on the floor

That's like 15 minutes of a 130+ hour game though. You're in an optional training dungeon.

but it's way too early to say either way. I thought it was kinda wack initially too, because I didn't understand everything going on. After around 4-5 hours I was
