I'm Everywhere you ain't never there
How so? The combat takes a minute to get used to but once you understand what's going on it's probably the deepest combat system ever in an RPG.
And if you got limited time this game definitely ain't for you. I put 144 hours into it, and that was with a guide towards the end.

Finally got around to coppin this and my god, is it deep. And hard too! (pause)
Playing on tactician difficulty and I'm dead if I get caught off guard. Took me the longest time to figure out why I was constantly shocking or freezing myself, and the game is unforgiving if you don't know what you're doing and really consider every single move.

This game has been alot of fun. I usually hate these types of games cause I get indecisive on how I want to build my characters. Now I'm just like fukk it and just not worrying about the shyt. Plus the evolved party mod that lets you have bigger parties
at times
I just started playing after buying this a few month ago on Steam. It's a learning curve because I haven't played this type of RPG in a while. I'm still on the island and I've been getting my ass handed to me in fights. I'm currently fighting the witch Radeka. She's easy enough to beat because her physical armor is weak. Those damn beetles though. I'm thinking of trying a few things later. Like using my rogue to pickpocket her purging wand. Or maybe teleport her into the death traps at the opening of the cave.
This game is dope. I discovered the first one a week ago and I just now got to level 6 
Tryna kill Evelyn but she keep spawning like 5 minions at a time to give me that work. shyts hard af, and I love it. I've never had to reload a previous save so many times lol but this shyt is crack

The need to drop part 3, shyt was fire loved every minute and I liked it being more darker than part 1.
Got this game for the switch on a whim, looked fairly interesting...Had a 5 day vacation and already dumped 50 hours into this
The tactical combat mixed with the open world mechanics makes for exceptional gameplay and the ability to play however you want and have so many ways to handle things is amazing
I made it driftwood and been mobbing out on these magisters and robbing merchants for everything they got
My squad:
Me: Necro/Polymorph Tank w/ some geomorph skills
Fane: high intellect Summoner/Geomorph build with some other aero and pyro spells
Sebille: High offense Rouge with stealth and pyro abilities
Lohse: Ranger/Summoner Hybrid w/ hydro & aero skills for restoration
I keep Fane and Lohse elevated and at a distance while they throw out totem traps and incarnates between attacking with spells & arrows while Sebille and my character charge in and do high physical damage. fukking UP these magisters

The Resurrection Scrolls are fairly easy to come by and/or you can craft them.
Generally speaking though you either win a battle in this game....or you get wiped out.

the armor system is REALLY important to understand
their might be all kinds of different types of damage you see - but it only comes down to physical/magical. you need to keep that armor up at all times or be on your way to mitigating it before you catch heavy shots 100% of the time
and the level advantage that enemies have on you will hit you there before anywhere else.
