why do I have to name a player?

I asked a question.

Who is the mythical player you'd put in Melo's place to magically get those Knicks teams over the Celtic and Heat hump.

Who are they?

The fact that you can't immediately answer again shows the lack of logic in your part.

There aren't many players that can take the Knicks over the top against the Heat and Celtics. Yet you fault Melo being the leader of the team for not doing so.

It's retarded. I'm pointing out flawed thinking.

So its now your turn to move the goalpost again.

why do I have to name a player? The ball screen iso/offense between Melo and JR Smith is never going to work. It never worked in Atlanta.

The Pacers were giving the Heat everything they could handle before Granger and West got hurt.

Running your offense through a guy that stops the ball and isnt an efficient player will never beat the good teams in this league. If melo were to change his game, then maybe....but I dont see that happening.

My thing is when lin stat and Melo played together melo took 14 shots a game thru a 7 game stretch til lin and stat got hurt. After that what was the other option for the knicks, let fields and Novak play hot potato outside the three point line, or give it to Melo?

Dirk did it the year before

So if Dirk was a Knick, they would have gotten past this year's Heat and last year's Celtic team.

Interesting...

I say that Dirk's supporting cast in 11 was better than Melo's.
You can manufacture a rational as to say otherwise starting now.

Not disagreeing with you at all...running Lin out of town was idiotic. He provided some semblance of stability on offense and could act as a legit 3rd option.

Interesting...

Both series would have been at least more competitive.

The Knicks should have just stayed home the past two years.

Ok, so what else does Carmelo need to be successful?

You're back to goalpost moving.

NOW it's about being competitive.

Dirk on the Knicks would have LOST the series, period.

Now it's about an "entertaining" and "competitive" series.

He’s a small forward not a point guard, why should assist per game matter?

And from the beginning, my question to you was about moving past those teams and it being Melo's fault.

You now have made it about being Melo's fault if they are "competitive" series.

I don't have no particular liking or dislike for Melo.

I just hate retarded blame people like you put on players when it makes no sense.

Knicks fans are the worst. They don't get into the playoffs for 6 years, Melo takes them there, now he's holding them back?

Now he's at fault for not "entertaining them" enough in series they in their hearts know they'd lose to both the Celtics and Heat?

You dudes are ass backwards.

Don't make this about me liking someone. Make it about your disjointed and illogical blame game.
