Disney is doing this to hold subs long term. If they did it like Netflix they'd have to deal with more seasonal subs based on when a show was all released.
This exactly. The Disney+ catalog is going to be way too small to justify staying subscribed year-round until their content library gets beefed up more in terms of quantity, so they have to release episodes weekly to convince people to stay signed up for longer periods of time. Capitalizing on people's laziness and inability to wait.

Call it what u want but netflix spoiled the shyt out of me with the drop all at once format. Its the only way i watch tv now. But from a business standpoint i get it.

Original Disney+ First Episodes available on launch:

- High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Musical
- The Mandalorian
- Encore!
- Marvel's Hero Project
- The Imagineering Story
- The World According to Jeff Goldblum
- Forky Asks a Question Animation
- SparkShorts
- 101 Dalmatian Street
- Bluey

Makes sense, cats acting like they're dropping content every week. The first Marvel show won't be out until August then Loki in 2021 along with WandaVision.
That's it?
