This just means they won’t have much new content so they’re stretching it out so people won’t cancel

I doubt this lasts more than a year or two

This keeps folks from dropping after they watch a certain show.

Then they can keep you paying instead of "jumping" back and forth.

I prefer weekly watches so I'm fine with this

I can't binge shyt working 40 hours a week
So you can watch an episode a week of a few shows but you can't watch a few episodes a week of one show? It's the same time commitment.

I worked 50-60 hours a week in my previous career, putting in 6-7 day work weeks while working mornings, afternoons, and night. I had no problem binge watching. Lame ass excuse you have there.

Of course disney and marvel stans are hyping the shyt of these shows and tryna downplay netflix. Lol

I don’t know anything about star wars so I won’t comment on mandalorian. But the trailer looks weak.

Disney has long ways to come as far as original content if they gonna fukk with netflix. House of cards, narcos, master of none have set the bar real high.

I’m already getting superhero fatigue after end game. So I really don’t care much about any of the marvel shows that are coming out
Look at their content outside of Marvel/Star Wars: Home Alone remake. Cheaper by the dozen remake. Lady in the tramp remake etc.:mjlol:

They're also only doing family friendly shyt. AT&T is gonna have a more diverse product and have deeper pockets. If anyone is challenging Netflix, it's them

I don't know about that, maybe but the people who are saying Disney is a Netflix killer, how? Of course I want to see The Mandalorian, of course I want to see Falcon and Winter Soldier..

but what does that have to do with Netflix? I been watching this show Mindhunter from Fincher, it's a great show, I can't get those type of shows on a Disney platform.

Netflix doesn't need to release an episode a week to keep people subscribed because they got so much stuff. Disney+ catalog is going to be so much smaller at launch that they'll have to do that to encourage people to stay subscribed year long.

DC universe does the same thing on their website, why is everyone so surprised???:dahell: I prefer the netflix one season in a day model but I guess they want the fans to prolong the flavor of the meal..:ld:

I don’t mind either way but this option to me let’s the show last longer for you.

Most times when you can binge, yea it’s cool to blow through it but unless it’s extraordinarily good. It kinda comes and goes.

The Boys for me is an example. I loved the show, thought it was great and can’t wait for next season. But the moment I saw the last ep..... a few days later after my “high” on the show came down. I have and just been over it.

Not hating on it or saying anything bad about it, but it’s just over and I’m passed it

Titans, Doom Patrol, and Swamp Thing work perfectly well being released episodic.

Especially if shyt is going to get released in the fall where a lot of OTHER prime shyt returns to tv

There’s just only so much one can consume

Binging sucks. With the exception of a few shows, episodes are meant to be separated. There is an art to writing an episode that disappears when everything is watched so close together.

I enjoy the conversation around shows, which becomes nearly impossible to participate in when everyone is watching at their own pace.
