:francis: @ new mutants. I really wanted to see that shyt. They can't even D+ or Hulu that shyt? C'monnnnnn

Let’s say that between TNM and the last X-men movie. The X-men movie was by far the better film and it wasn’t close.

Is this really how you want to kick off you future mutant movies with? Or after the stain of DP is this really how you want to remember that great franchise that did 2 last minute hits?:russ:

I can already tell this Disney/Fox thing is going to unfold like EA/Bioware where EA's history of fukking things up gets them blamed for shyt they had no part of, like the end of "Mass Effect 3" and the subsequent death of that franchise.

Fred.

:mjcry: You think Dragon Age is doomed?

:yeshrug: I'm a casual CB fan, but a bigger Horror fan. I liked TNM's horror spin, and was interested how they'd do it/pull it off.

I feel you. If it was good I’d say yea they should drop it. But if it was as bad as many stated. Probably not a good look at this point.

I never saw the 80s FF movie, I know it exist, seen clips. And I’m good with that:russ:

I'm two minds on this. The larger picture, not just the titles they said they're unhappy with. On one hand, it's a business and your job is to make money. Cool. but when I look at articles in variety detailing what their plans are going forward, and basically only releasing movies that are engineered to be blockbusters, I have an issue with that. Big issue.

We're at the point where they only want to dust off properties they know are sure fire wins, and its the lion king all over again: A movie designed by a corporate machine without much soul to it. They won't take any risks, like Taika Waititi's latest joint, all because it doesn't fit the brand or may ruffle feathers. Every product will have its edges smoothed out and be focus group tested to the utmost degree:francis:

That sounds like a very boring ass future

They shouldn’t be surprised about the X-Men flick flopping. The last one was a mixed bag, and the early reviews were shytting on DF. The previews weren’t good. I remember watching the first one like :patrice:

Stuber was destined to fail. Movie looked meh. This comes Down to marketing and actual movies that the public wants to spend money on. Stop bytching about flops and put out quality flicks. :childplease:
