And I'm sure that the Marvel/Star Wars show aren't cheap to produce and like weren't going to get their ROI even before COVID-19 hit. That's why they are downsizing and closing all of their side projects to devote the money and resources to their subscription service.
They are going to have to bump up the price by a good bit sometime soon as they won't have a choice.

Aint nothing saddity bout me. It's about offering variety. Thats what Netflix and Max offers.
For people who aint into that stuff they don't offer much of anything at all. A great number of folks don't care bout bout star wars and don't care bout marvel C level characters. They wanna watch shows based in the real world. They have to start offering that.
Disney should have done better out the gate cause they have a head start when it comes to production.
Netflix had to get it out the mud with House of Cards and Orange. Disney shoulda been seen that as a blueprint when they decided to drop this and used their funds to create shows like that instead of focus on kiddie shyt.

I just got the Hulu/ESPN/Disney + bundle and yeah both Hulu and Disney + don't have the library of HBOMax but they are also cheaper. You get all three @ a price cheaper than just HBOMax.

I mean, the lil nikka version of obarth will always consider that show a classic, but current obarth isn't sure he can compare it to lemonade: a drink that was popular and still is. Jokes aside, I'm hard pressed to find an animated show that wowed me as a child and hits the same as a man. Even more "adult" animation like Ren n Stimpy has me scared it'll look funny in the light decades later. It's only logical: I enjoyed my childhood and thought I was a bit beyond my years, but current me would get annoyed with child me post hastedon’t say that

I feel like they did the math and realized they were not being competitive with Netflix of HBO Max based on their current structure. Hell the only reason it’s not clear to everyone now that Disney+ is number 3 (or 4) in the stream wars is HBO Max has been so slow on their platform roll out everyone hasn’t had a chance to really look at it.
Combining Disney+ and Hulu gets them back into the conversation as a must have service and which is the best company between them, Netflix, and HBO.
