This is my issue....not that all police are bad, far from it, but there seems to be a weird halo over law enforcement in this country, especially pertaining to us.

Can you imagine any other field where everyone fights from a "they don't make mistakes" stance with life or death? Could you imagine no doctors being sued or losing licenses for malpractice or lawyers never getting disbarred because the establishment protects them? Yet people act like cops NEVER shoot the wrong person for the wrong reason. Even if no cop profiled Black men adversely, this level of perfection is freaking impossible :mindblown:

Does anyone have any info on what this was based on? Did the DA not believe they could get "beyond a reasonable doubt" or did something else happen?

you can tell by the press conference the da wasnt going to go after those responsible for this homicide...not 1 out of 15 prosecutors thought this deserved a trial...these people are wicked...

Mecklenburg County District Attorney Andrew Murray said he didn't reach the decision alone; a total of 15 prosecutors unanimously agreed that Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Officer Brentley Vinson was justified in shooting Scott on September 20 in an apartment complex parking lot.
