I know I watch Dinosaurs when I was a kid but I can't remember too many episodes...that ending is sad

I remember in second grade my teacher telling us that she called/wrote a letter to ABC complaining about how they cancelled the show and the ending. Even as a second grader I was like

But for real though, what kind of dinos were they supposed to be??
80s/90s shows went hard as fukk. "Dinosaurs", "Alf", "Quantum Leap" all ended sad....and those weren't even the dramas. A show like "Dallas", the devil talked J.R. into killing himself in the last ep. "St. Elsewhere", you find out the whole series took place in a kid's imagination.
