I've always said this! Alot of women have their idea life/marriage planned out to show a certain appearance to the outside world. They just go through life checking the box to include the husband and don't even get to know the person to understand if they actually love them. Just going through the checklist. That's why we have these miserable marriages out here. People are dating for the look and perks and don't actually like the person behind the scenes
It's crazy how someone who claims to be peacefully single and unbothered would take the time to write paragraphs and have arguments in a thread about something she claims to have emotionally divested from. She had some sensible points in her first post but then let her personal hangups slip in and started making it about her.

A lot of men don’t seem to understand women. The idea of going 50/50 for women gives the impression that the man needs them. Women want to feel wanted not needed. And if you need her to help you pay your bills then in essence you are “broke”.
A woman preferring to pay 100% of her bills as opposed to going 50/50 with you is pretty much out of principle. If a woman really likes you she is not going to let you pay every damn bill on your own unless you are actually wealthy.
