It's my least favorite liquor.
Honestly, I like Rum, tequila, and whiskey more than vodka and gin. I like gin when it's mixed well. Vodka's really hard to mix and is just harsh.

Personally I'm a brown drinker, henny on the rocks all night for me, but if we talking strictly vodka then I say Ciroc or Grey Goose, Smirnoff too but thats iffy

If you drink a lot of vodka, you've probably had more potato-based vodka than anything else.No vodka anywhere on the planet tastes like no water - quit exaggerating. There is a smoothness difference, though. Still, you haven't drank bad alcohol until you've had that potato vodka shyt - BLEGH!
And to whoever thinks you're "saving your liver" by ordering expensive vodka....

you tasted the difference in the pear taste...not the actual vodkaYour taste buds lost cause that is not true. I can tell the difference between a shyt vodka and good stuff. I remember one time I ordered a grey goose pear and sprite, took one sip and told the waitress "this isn't grey goose"
But I heard if you take shytty stuff and filter it a few times thru a brita, it will taste just as good the pricier shyt. Never tried it though
How the hell are you going to tell me what I tasted ? Like I said in another post, absolut tastes like rubbing alcohol and thats how I knew.

I was in the business and I can definitely tell you there is a difference, we used to get marketing people from the likes of Diageo giving us regular tastings and you can definitely tell the difference....
Im generally not a vodka guy but you can tell the real premium stuff because as countless people have said they are a lot smoother...
It is very hard to appreciate the taste of a drink, its uniqueness, smoothness when you are mixing it with coke/orange etc because you are diluting it, so I can appreciate why the OP says they taste the same, but if you drink vodka neat you will taste the difference
The best vodka I ever tasted hands down no competition was Snow Leopard, its probably one of only three vodkas that I would drink neat......
