difference between $10 vodka and $50 vodka?

Your taste buds lost cause that is not true. I can tell the difference between a shyt vodka and good stuff. I remember one time I ordered a grey goose pear and sprite, took one sip and told the waitress "this isn't grey goose" She aplogized and said that they didnt have it so she substituted absolut pear instead. Sent her ass back to make me a different drink.

But I heard if you take shytty stuff and filter it a few times thru a brita, it will taste just as good the pricier shyt. Never tried it though

I have no idea how you were able to distinguish. absolute is decent vodka. now I can taste the difference between cheap shyt and good shyt. but I really cannot tell the difference between decent shyt and good shyt.

so to me absolute, stolichnaya, ketel one, taste damn near as good as ciroc, grey goose, and belvidere. and especially if they are mixed with something that adds a flavor.

personally, I'd NEVER pay $50 for a bottle of vodka. at costco, you can get the big boy of grey goose for $50. but I'm not gonna buy that when I can get the same size of ketel one for $35 there

grey goose ain't $15 better than ketel one IMO.

If youre drinking it straight or doing a shot you can defnitely tell the difference but i dont like vodka straight anyway i usually mix it so theyres no reason for me to buy the expensive shyt i usually go for a middle tier one

Aside from shots of tequila or jameson, I've only drank vodka for the last 10 years or so. Absolut tastes and smell like rubbing alcohol to me. IMO, Stoli and ketel are closer to goose so I can drink those with no issue. At my pt job, absolut is our well vodka. We put that shyt in a spray bottle and wipe the stage down with it, so the girls don't slip.

But seriously a $10 bottle of vodka is a nice way to have a horrible hangover and possible puke all over myself. I'd rather just take the hit and buy some grey goose or ciroc and have some quality flavor, something that's smooth, and easy to mix.

In college, I had my share of shytty vodka tho. I think the worst was some shyt called dimitri when drinking hard liquor, I ALWAYS go by the rule to NEVER drink anything that comes in a plastic container. it's pretty much a guaruntee that its terrible. the ONLY exception to this rule is when I found bacardi in a plastic bottle. however, everything else in plastic is horrible.
