Use the filter trick...poor your cheap vodka through an old brita filter...it actually helps after a pass or two.
Coincidentally, I just bought some Pinnacle Vodka yesterday...came in plastic container. I don't buy high end stuff by any means but I usually spend a little extra on smirnoff or absolut than I did on this which was on sale. Worth it for the sale, but it's definitely not as clean tasting. Harsh going down.
Not bad enough to need to filter though....
Doesn't really matter anyways. I usually take like 3 shots, than make a screwdriver with like 2 shots and fill the rest of the glass with orange juice. Gets me feeling right.

In college, I had my share of shytty vodka tho. I think the worst was some shyt called dimitri
when drinking hard liquor, I ALWAYS go by the rule to NEVER drink anything that comes in a plastic container. it's pretty much a guaruntee that its terrible. the ONLY exception to this rule is when I found bacardi in a plastic bottle. however, everything else in plastic is horrible.
