Which is why in my initial post, I said he's not the only guy they're talking to, he hasn't accepted it, and they're just talking at the moment. So there's nothing to believe accept those facts. They have at least three other cats in mind but Mel is at the top of the list and his job to take. Again, no needed for any of that homie.

Spider man saw diminishing grosses tho and didn't clear the budgets the studio wanted. So it wasn't making enough for them and it got lambasted critically and it showed a downturn. This movie exceeded financial expectations which is the difference
