Yep. I was 8 and 15. But I went to the hospital pretty early because my inhaler wasn't working. Then I had this home treatment kit, and it wasn't working either Endured it for half a day and bowed out, went straight to ER. They take it very serious, you cut the line and they get to work with oxygen and lung medication (some kind of muscle relaxer i think) with some IV. Then they have this battering tool that thumps away at your chest to loosen phlegm. They then start pounding on your back to make you cough it out. They do this every 2 hours. Thick green phlegm as hard as clay coming out. They don't stop until it turns yellow, that's when everyone can breathe a little (no pun). Mind you this whole time you are struggling to breathe so imagine trying to cough with a sumo on your chest.
