Yep that is why pneumonia, flu and cold/asthma take out old folks.

Anyone who is a asthmatic knows a cold can have them in the hospital and can kill them. Just that fact that their lungs get agitated so easily which causes fluid ti build up in their lungs.

Plus a lot of folks 35 and older don't even know that they have asthma until they suddenly have breathing issues or catch a cold and need a breathing treatment.

Friend of mine is a pathologist and when Bernie Mac died he told me that when ppl die from aids it's usually because they caught pneumonia and the immune system was too weak to fight it. A girl I know father died the same way Aids->pneumonia.
