Yea that's not how it works. Just like how Rkelly beat his first case cause the victim did not cooperate. Feds can make any allegation they want. They are trying to taint the Jury pool with sensationalized headlines. Anyone with common sense knows diddy ran legit businesses and made his money from his music and liqour deals. If they had a real case they wouldnt have to play these games.
A superseding indictment was always expected cause most legal analyst said from day one that the charges and case was weak and the fed supposedly had all this evidence to comb through from the raids before updating the indictment. The expectation was that they would add co-defendants (Cause who can run a rico by themself) and more specific charges and vicitms (What happened to 100's of victims?). After all the evidence they have came back with the exact same weak charges and tacked on 2 alleged prostitutes as victims. Drug addicted prostitutes don't make for good witnesses on the stand when being cross examined by some of the top lawyers in the country. If this even makes it trial, its not a slam dunk or easy case for feds.
