Then he disappeared for a while and didn’t seem as big until this decade.

I saw him in Paper Soldiers, 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Soul Plane but he wasn't well known and I thought he was just a random D-lister actor with low-budget films, etc. Didn't know he was a stand-up comedy at that time. His stand-up comedy is not that funny, he's just okay.

Nobody went to see Soul Plane cause of Kevin Hart. They went to see Soul Plane cause they got stars cast and it's a black movie.

Then I remember K Hart killing that Shaq All-Star Comedy Show. Then some years later I found out he came up in the NYC area with Patrice ONeal and that crew. Those dudes were brutal with the roast jokes. I do remember him for Colin Quinn's Tough Crowd show.
