I remember another day I was watching a shytty movie called "Janky Promoters" with Ice Cube and Mike Epps. Then I saw Tiffany Haddish was playing a Motel Maid that she was trying to fukk Young Jeezy. The first time I watched it and I don't know who the fukk she was until now I know who she is.

Saw him in the Lean Back video first. Never watched Soul Plane til years later, used to watch comic view but never really remembered anybody (was busy trying to not get the

I didn’t know he was but I’m looking at his Wikipedia and he didn’t start doing a stand up tour until 2009 which is 5 years after he did Soul Plane. Prior to that it says he did stand up in Philly, didn’t do well, then stand up in Massachusetts where he would try to sound like Chris Tucker until he found his own style. I don’t see anything about comicview or any tv spots doing stand up before Soul Plane though. He was probably more known in the club scene by fellow comedians? I don’t know

Soul Plane was Kev's major debut and he lead an all black cast to sold $14.8M in box office sales at 1,556 theatres over 10 weeks, but haters don't wanna acknowledge that shyt 
But nah, I was a teenager back then. I think that's the first I heard of/seen him but I can't say for sure.
