Something like this happened a few years ago, a tower caught on fire and a lady and her family were on one of the top floors with no way to get out while on FB live. They all died.

They couldn't get up to the roof if they wanted. Levels above them were on fire too and many couldn't even see through the smoke to find the stairs. Plus it's easy to say things like that in hindsight.

Yup, like clockwork every Late August I start going on a 9/11 dive and shyt fukks me up every time. This year I'm living in New York again for the first time since '03 and it's really getting me now

I lived in Rockland County when it happened. I was in 4th grade, literally the second week of school and the principle comes in asking us if any of our parents worked in NYC. First we're thinking it's some survey shyt but her face was DEAD serious. Then our teacher told us what was going on. Come back home, and my dad's already off work and glued to the TV.

Definitely gonna visit the memorial site on Saturday.

Idiot managers in the 2nd Tower telling hundreds of employees to go back to their office literally killed them all..

So many horrendous decisions.... everyone in leadership was incompetent that day.... 2nd Tower should've been completely evacuated once the 1st tower got hit.

One survivor told the story of how he disregarded that. One coworker went up to him, grabbed his shoulder and asked him what he was gonna do? Survivor said "I'm getting the fukk outta here". Dude said, "Sounds like a good idea, Imma go to the bathroom first but then I'll join you."

He never saw that guy again.
