It's crazy how folks can think Beyonce is radical for doing some half ass video (10+ years late), when all of above was going on. shyt, I haven't even scratch the surface either. There is political and social motive to have blacks stay out of New Orleans (to rebuild without blacks), there still hasn't been a full accounting or report on everything that happened, there is speculation that the Levees were purposely destroyed, and so on.

Again, we're always reacting to some chaos and it always works out just like this. Seems like no lessons have been learned though so .

The next American Crime story season will focus on Katrina...doubt they'll touch on this in any detail though.

Of course not, the focus will be on some nikkas shooting up the French Quarter (speculation). David Simon kind of lost me with the show Treme when he had some black dudes shooting up the Quarter and popping random white dudes, but he didn't feature the violence that took place during the storm and its aftermath.

Hollywood moving all into New Orleans due to the tax breaks but I haven't seen a single production really talk about what happened there.

Also, a lot of black folks tend to buy into that "black power structure" talk when it comes to political power. As if all of our problem will be solved by getting some isolated black faces into "powerful" positions regardless of their political affiliations and ambitions. As if white folks gonna stop being white folks because some black folks occupy "powerful" positions.

What you think about solar power breh? Eventually I want to get some installed on my roof and get a couple of those Tesla power packs so I can get off the grid

Solar is THE way to go because even the best generator needs gas to keep going. The sun though is always available. Right now the main problem with solar is price it's out of reach for the average person but from what I have read it starts to pay for itself after about 5-7 years. Also maintenence of the panels is something else to take into account. Solar is definitely a goal to work towards that's further down my list

Katrina should be a lesson to black people. If society ever collapses, the first things white people will do is start killing black people. Yeah, it was all bogus. Plus I remember a year or so after the storm they interviewed a black guy who said he was walking down the street in Mississippi and a this white dude shot his friend from the back with no warning.

So blacks are really the only race in the world who believe in that kumbaya We are the World nonsense. So only a foolvwould think other races give a shiit about unity. And everytime we protest, they don't see it being for justice or social reasons, they think its part of our plot to get revenge.

I would have probably got myself killed being on that kumbaya nonsense, I'm glad I'm woke. Get you a shot gun, AK, and a revolver. Cause no way someone comes on my porch to threaten me, shot gun in plain sight already let the folks know I don't feel like talking.

Part of the story that boils my blood is, the cacs had the nerve to walk on his porch and put guns in he and his wife face. Due to him not having a gun all he could do is .
