you completely missed my point of the post. Ps4 sales are front loaded. Do you seeing them doubling their current sales in next 3 years? I dont.
We're going on 3 years of some people still saying PS4 sales are front loaded.
I've said since the beginning of this Gen that this shyt would be extremely front loaded and would sell less than the last 2 gens.is the player base that installed? Its coming up on 3 years old real quick.. Why havnt 45 million people who bought the PS3 havnt bought the PS4 ? (PS4 is at 40 million sold, PS3 sold 85 million)
For all the PS4 hype over the past 3 years about how quick it initially sold, those reports have seemed to die down this entire year.
On top of that, for people who owned a PS3, what stopped them from buying a PS4? Its only at half of what PS3 sold, years into the life of the system. Before you say "well the old generation was 7 years old" true.. But how things work in this new generation (with everything, relationships, technology, social media, anything.. ) is that it has a great first impression and things taper off..
Whats coming out for PS4 that will sell another 45 million units ? to MATCH the PS3 ? Unless they count the PS4 Neo as part of the PS4 total sales, which is BSand even then I dont see them getting back to 85 million sales..
So if the PS4 doesnt sell as much as the PS3 (which is realistic) are we going to be calling it a flop like the xbox 1 ?
Since this is a marathon, what if the xbox 1 and PS4 end up having close to the same amount of sales by 2020

all this PS4 is so great cause it sold so many copies originally, it might not even end up selling more than the PS3

The console market is shrinking but dudes don't wanna hear me though because they can point to the big first few months while ignoring the purchasing habits of the general population has completely changed.

the xbox1 is going through the same thing the PS3 went through. Set the wrong price point and lowered it over time and starting to sell more.
PS4 started off at a great price point, but everyone who wanted one got one by now. Where do you see them getting another 45 million sales from? You aren't answering the question.. This new generation is ADD/buy now as soon as its out generation. You cant rationally think the PS4 will get to 85 million units sold, right ?

VR has already flopped, I dont get why they think Sony will some how save it
its not like it WILL flop, it ALREADY has flopped.
Just by the lack of power available for PSVR, it is incapable of running a lot of games out and in dev for Vive/rift.
Sure it can play the mobile VR stuff, but that's kinda the problem. That shallow mini-game stuff gets old quick.
We gotta give it a little more time. Oculus is still having shipping issues (VR has already flopped, I dont get why they think Sony will some how save it

), so a ton of people don't have them yet still Maybe you can call the Vive a flop, but it's still too early to call the Rift a flop. I think the Rift will ultimately win out because of FB money. I think it's a better experience too.
Sony isn't going to support this thing unless it has a fast and large take off.

This mediaum is to compelling to flop or give up on. It is a gamechanging experience. VR is so game changing MicroSoft said fukk hololens and kinect and literally on the E3 Stage said when our new box comes it will VR ready we even went to developers and asked them what would it take to run VR....Now that's game changing. Last year Sony has VR, well we got hololens and proceeds to put out fake demo and wow the crowd only to be abandon before it comes out and try to co-op the competitors Vision.
