Expect Sony to support a device lol they will treat this shyt like the Vita
I never understood this argument when it comes to Sony and VR. I could understand it, if it was just about the MOVE or Kinect, reason being those latter devices were stand alone devices hoping for support from 3rd parties via add on or stand alone. With VR, you have several manufactures making the device be it PC or Mobile and PS4 all those experience are being developed for all Platforms in addition to Games we have Movies, Photos, Movie Shorts, YouTube and Facebook Movies, Traveling exepriences, Real Estate companies filming in 360 to show off homes in VR a myriad of shyt outside of gaming.I'm still not sold on VR because I don't trust Sony to support it with enough software. And I doubt PSVR will be a huge commercial success so what will Sony's incentive be to fund more games?
Most of the games I've seen thus far have been real tech "demoish". Rigs is the only thing that appeals to me at this point.
Look at you all gettin in yo feelings n shyt. Giiiirl stopExactly. fukk these console peasants. PC gaming is truly a democratic arena. Everyone acts like they have some sense. Unlike the pre-pubescent console crowd.

Some people think VR is just a device that "Sony" is doing and will be discarded ignoring that VR is an industry. It's not really a matter of IF it'll take off but when.
You fail to realize that Sony's VR is a Closed system, therefore most of the products being made more than likely won't be compatible with Sony's underpowered system. Also, Vita also had an extensive list of supporters and it's currently bargain bin status.

VR fans are much bette off copping an oculus rift or Vive IMHO
I'm sure you mean well, but you are WRONG in every since of the word. 95% of VR Games are being made across Rift/Vive/PSVR and damn near a 100% experiences are being made for PC/Mobile/PSVR. Just do some research homie and stop speculating. It is a closed system based on x86 architecture, and middleware devs Unity/UE4 VR is being used to develop VR experience on all platforms which makes for easy porting to all platforms, which is why you see all those PC VR games being ported to PSVR.
I think its almost impossible for sony to make a mistake.
They literally can try whatever they want at this point because they fan base is so installed.
Only thing that can hurt them potentially is releasing a new system at 499/599 again... and even then.... nowadays people are kind of use to paying that for cell phones and things.
Too much VR shyt is being invested in. You got Samsung, Sony, Facebook with Oculus, etc.
I don't think it will fail, but will be very niche at first.

why yall acting like VR aint come out already ? It did. It flopped. Bad. The Vive and Occoulus Rift, which had way more marketing than PSVR already both came out within recent months, and no one gave a shyt really except people with extra money to throw away on shyt like that.
Sony will not save this. VR is already dead.
is the player base that installed? Its coming up on 3 years old real quick.. Why havnt 45 million people who bought the PS3 havnt bought the PS4 ? (PS4 is at 40 million sold, PS3 sold 85 million)
For all the PS4 hype over the past 3 years about how quick it initially sold, those reports have seemed to die down this entire year.
On top of that, for people who owned a PS3, what stopped them from buying a PS4? Its only at half of what PS3 sold, years into the life of the system. Before you say "well the old generation was 7 years old" true.. But how things work in this new generation (with everything, relationships, technology, social media, anything.. ) is that it has a great first impression and things taper off..
