Did Rick Ross Actually Win His Beef With 50 Cent in Hindsight, or Are We Witnessing More Revisionist History?

Nah. Massacre is actually dope. The singles were questionable, but the album itself was heat. The Storch joints were the worst, the Eminem collabo, and "Outta Control" original were weak/wack. "Outta Control" remix is classic. Some if 50's best songs are on Massacre. Songs below still go:

Ryder Music
Baltimore Love Thing
Ski Mask Way
Position of Power
God Gave Me Style
Get In My Car
In My Hood
This is 50
Hate It or Love It (remix)
I'm Supposed To Die
I Don't Need Em

This was never an issue that people really cared about.

It's just some personal sh*t between two dudes that never ended. But if we're being real, Rozay's music got a lot better right after the beef started. 50's didn't. Deeper Than Rap was when Ross stepped it up. Both lyrically, and with his production being A1. Their peaks never ran at the same time, so it wasn't like either career was changed by their issues. They both just kept doing what they had already been doing. But 50 got more focused on TV and film. So there's no real "winner", especially since this sh*t is never going to end, according to Ross.

the year is now 2023 and Ross is worth hundreds of millions to date

50 is only worth 40 million

Ross won. the end.
Ross is not up hundred of millions and Fif is so savvy I'm sure we don't know his real net worth lol. After that law suit I'm sure much of his money went into a trust or other bank accounts. Also has money in businesses.

That CO sht cut Ross sales in half. He would have been much bigger in rap if that never came out. So yea 50 put a big dent in Ross rap career.

This is silly. Ross was bigger AFTER he was outed as CO. In fact, it is more arguable Ross put more of a dent in 50's career than vice versa. 50 Cent went from 2X Platinum in 2007 to barely going gold by 2009. Huge fall off. Meanwhile, Ross's 2010 Teflon Don sold more copies than 2009's Deeper Than Rap. 2009 saw Ross elevating. By the time, he dropped the Albert Anastacia mixtape, it was a wrap. His career got a whole second life largely because of the songs "BMF" and "MC Hammer".

50 has clearly been hiding assets since the bankruptcy. The only people who probably know 50s true worth are 50 and his accountants.

I give Ross no credit. 50 was already cooling off, and his arrogance and rejection of Jimmy Iovine and "the machine" finished it. If he played the game, he would probably still be doing alright musically just like Eminem. He pivoted to TV and film, which turned out to be genius in hindsight.
