Did rewatching Dragonball Z change opinions you had about certain characters?

The Cell Saga made me respect Tien a whole lot more.

He never backs away from a fight and he never shows fear ( even though he knows he’s outclassed).

Not to mention him stalling in the Buu saga. Tien is to Goku what Steel is to Superman

One thing I did notice when I rewatched it (kai) is the boosts in power.

People were shytting on super because of this while at the same time acting like DBZ didnt do the same thing lol

Vegeta was clearly stronger than Goku during and after their fight. Vegeta gets a zenkai boost after their battle and his battles on Namek but somehow Goku ends up significantly stronger than him after training for a couple of days at a 100g on his way to Namek

Vegeta got a ridiculous Zenkai boost after eating that senzu bean Goku gave him

plus he had kaioken

I think through some weird workings Vegeta has been stronger than Goku more often than people want to admit. He doesn't get bullshyt powerups like SSJ3 or UI though. GOAT Jobber

Goku was a terrible father and a shytty person after the frieza saga. nikka constantly threw gohan into dangerous situations and acted like goten didnt even exist.

Nothing was more important to goku than fighting whoever offered him a challenge.

Krillin, vegeta, and piccolo were the best father figures in dragon ball z.

Piccolo knew more about gohan than goku ever did.

Breh goku fighting jiren suppressed around what the 40 min mark got his ass whooped then throughout of it till toward the end and managed to be stronger than him in that short span is
This was by far the biggest gap In dragon ball history
And he surpassed it with no senzu bean no stamina in what 40 mins

Yes. On my first watch I thought Goku was a loving father and great husband.

After aging and constantly rewatching I now know he is a piece of shyt and it didn't take the manga or sub for me to realize this.

I thought kid/teen Gohan was a soldier. Truth is Gohan was always a bytch.

King Kai.... why did he only teach Goku the good shyt? He could have taught the others how to do kaioken and the spirit bomb... would have helped a lot.

Why Goku never taught everyone how to do Instant Transmission? Really could have helped everyone out during the Android/Cell Sagas.

It's criminal that Piccolo wasn't just as strong as Goku and Vegeta given he was a Super Namakian after fusing with both Nail and Kami

They nerfed the fukk out of Vegeta on namek

which is funny because he really wasnt like that in the Saiyan Saga- Frieza Saga

i think I noticed really (i've seen the OG series 5 times in full dont need to rewatch) but I was watching Dead Zone and it's insane how much power scaling happens in the series. Goku was struggling to beat Garlic Jr's henchmen in the movie by himself and needed HELP
