Aesthetically GTA V is the goat but GTA San Andreas put it all together. The fact that you can fly back to liberty city in San Andreas was next level.

They should have done that with GTA V where you can fly back to Vice City and have a story line and missions there

I wonder if Rockstar working on GTA VI
I think they’re in the EARLY EARLY stages but the rumor is Bully 2 is coming next

I’m kinda worried since all the OGs left Rockstar

Another thing I didn’t like was having to play as 3 characters

They made it seem like you can switch between them easy and fast , that shyt was slow and had to load :hhh:

Should’ve just made Trevor the main

It was forgettable cause GTA V online turned into silly Super Saints Row hero.
I enjoy GTA V not playing online.. you’re right that shyt is silly season.. playing the regular story line is a lot better especially the second and 3rd time around because you start doing a lot of the side missions and other little shyt

IMO...and I know I'm in the minority...it lived up to the hype and surpassed it, honestly.

I think it had the best missions of any GTA series so far. A lot of varied missions vs the usual stuff we've come accustomed to.

GTA online was trash at first but had a good 2 year sweetspot where it was the best online experience.

The varied/updated missions, games, and content they kept feeding us was insane.

It is/was a beautiful game.

I'd rank it neck and neck with SA

Online is actually fun ..... when you unlock everything :whoo:

It took my a week of grinding just to unlock the flying bike alone :snoop:

I had a money making routine going on , i would grind a few hours a day every morning and in the afternoons , shyt was kinda like a job:heh:

San Andreas > vice city>GTA 5 > GTA IV

grand 5 story just wasn't that good imo.. game was great but not the greatest of all time, the characters and story was average. big upgrade on that Niko bullshyt we got in GTA IV tho
GTA IV was more popular amongst New Yorkers lol.. the storyline played on the Russians from Brighton beach BK.. Aesthetically it captured NYC 100% from all 5 boroughs

Not really.

The more I play it and the more I think about it, the less I like it. For as huge as the map is, it's pretty disappointing to have 1 city, one countryside, and then a gigantic mountaintop comprising all of it. Like @Tech said above, San Andreas' map was smaller but it felt bigger and more distinct.

I'm at the point where I can say I don't really like any of the characters. Franklin is "too good for the hood" but is barely doing anything about it, Michael has it made but hates his family and is going through some midlife crisis that I'm supposed to care about because...?, and Trevor is a walking meme. He's funny at first but it wears thin.

They brought back elements from San Andreas only to utilize them in lackluster ways. Stats are back but none of the activities to raise stats return, nor does your body change depending on how you take care of yourself. Burger Shot and Cluckin Bell are in the game, but you can only restore health by eating candy bars at a corner store?

The police are WAAAY too aggressive in this game to the point it becomes detrimental. Why bother thinking of creative ways to commit crime (or just not giving a fukk) when the police swarm on you instantly like flies to shyt?

For a game centered around heists, you make all that money and have NOTHING to spend it on. No casinos, no kind of gambling...nothing. Playing the stock market? Please.

And I'll never get over this: the cheats are trash. You can only be invincible for 5 minutes then the code deactivates because the devs couldn't figure out how to disable trophies for as long as you had cheats activated? That's anti-fun.

Online is trash but you already knew that.

6 is gonna have to do better for me.

Nah, GTA4 was the goat. Story was gritty than mofo. Neko been thru some shyt and back, dude has a lot of depth if you paid attention to him. Dude wanted a getaway and saw america as the best choice, but it ended up putting him right back where he left his homeland after defending his own blood, and then the people you meet during the story just adds on top of that. R* made Liberty City like you was really in NYC and they really captured the grittiness, the atmosphere, the people, the landscape down to almost each block. Not to mention the great expansion packs that extended the story even more. :wow:

GTA5 on the other hand had a great way of playing 3 different characters, but the up level making it more "Hollywood" with that drama, action, and of course good depth of characters you run into in the story. Online when it first released was amazing, I had so much fun, despite the horrible load times, then updated the grind to make you pay more for in-game cash, and then long awaited heist which was burnt out. They did keep a good pace at updating it each month, but nothing could be better than having the story DLC we was suppose to have, but they choose to the greedy route with GTA Online.:mjcry:

Rockstar was supposed to release 4 story DLCs. One for each character and the doomsday stuff was supposed to be for all 3 characters. The content got repurposed for GTA Online.

Another thing I didn’t like was having to play as 3 characters

They made it seem like you can switch between them easy and fast , that shyt was slow and had to load :hhh:

Michael is the main character. Trevor and Franklin were added later in development.

Surpassed expectations but they once again flopped with Online...

It was just the restaurant...

Anyways you can fly to all major GTA cities in GTA V...Libery, Vice, San Fierro and Las Venturas...

Only on PC...:myman:
