It had one bad season breh. Last season was rushed, but it wasn't terrible. There could have been a spinoff, breh who played that Chicago Italian was great.

The first 2 seasons were on point, after that the show should have been 30% what Nucky was doing and 70% showing the rise of Capone, Lucky, Lansky and etc...

I think the other main thing that hurt the show was you can tell they were setting up Nucky vs Jimmy battling it out for control of Atlantic City for at least 2 seasons with everyone picking sides but when dude that played Jimmy got kicked off the show it changed a lot of things for the worst.

This show was supposed to be Deadwood/Sopranos level considering the people behind the scenes but it was mostly just a pretty good show with flashes of brilliance here and there. It's a B+ player, no HHH

Seasons 1-4 were fire. It still hurts my heart they had to kill Jimmy in season 2. So much wasted potential :mjcry::mjcry:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Init. Lansky and luciano seemed loyal to rothstein for the most part throughout the show. but then such an event where they turn on him and takeover is something they just skip and only mention a few times. smh

I enjoyed the show tho
they never flipped on him... AR was killed over a debt in real life... on the show they skipped 10 years, one of the years being the one he died in

if anything AR double crossed them by stealing their heroin and selling it to the other boss

No network should trust Terrance Winter with the amount of money and resources HBO gave him again. I give him credit for finessing them off the strength of his involvement with the Sopranos but between Boardwalk and Vinyl he should go down as one of the biggest failures in TV history.

Have an unlimited budget, Martin Scorsese directly involved with your show, and access to a vault of classic music and get cancelled after one season brehs :flabbynsick:

The actor was an a$$hole. You can see he hasn't got any work since.

He actually killed it as Mason Verger on the "Hannibal" TV series....then abruptly asked to be written off the show.

I don't know if he's on drugs or has mental issues but there doesn't seem to be much logic to his career choices.

Great actor. My dad was pretty upset he was written off BWE, and he doesn't really mention actors like that. He came to work fukked up, difficult to work with. With character not being tied to history it was stupid. We missed out on a great arc.
