they could have spun a LEGENDARY crime show with luciano, lansky, etc. but all we got was an offscreen rothstein death

Init. Lansky and luciano seemed loyal to rothstein for the most part throughout the show. but then such an event where they turn on him and takeover is something they just skip and only mention a few times. smh

I enjoyed the show tho

I legit don't understand why TWD is so hot and I'm a big fan of the zombie/infected genre.

That whole humans are the real monsters and survival theme they got was murdered by The Last Of Us, a video game.

The effort needed to make a show like this based on costume and set designs alone must have been nuts. On top of that the writing was great. The characters and the acting was also great. All the actors played their roles very well and made it seem like it was straight out of the 20s and 30s..... definitely a heavily slept on show

The show had a very specific feeling but I can see that it started to get expensive with all that cast and it is a period piece but it always felt like something was missing. They decided to make it more historical based than people centric at some points and then switched it up to the opposite so a lot of things got lost in the process and that was my only problem with the show. Also Steve Buscemi shouldn't have been the lead, it needed someone else to be the star.

Was a great show. Narcisse, Chalky, Meyer Lansky, Luciano, Rothstein, Harrow, Jimmy, Mickey, Capone and Dunn Purnsley were great characters. Wasnt perfect but good enough
