Did a 72 hour fasting.. ask me anything

Did you exercise during the 72 hours?
On my 24 hour fast I was doing shoulder lifts, bench pressing and lunges.. I kept it light but it was effective
The second day I was feeling those effects real heavy so I skipped the gym
3rd day I did some light cardio and curls an hour before my fasting ended

72 is small potatos. Push for 96 next time. Fasting taught my ass quick that most of the time when I thought I was hungry, I was really just thirsty.

Changed my fukking life for the better.
Nah I'm not trying to lose muscle

I ate a turkey sub and chips before the fast.. I had no substantial food in my fridge so I just decided to not eat the rest of the day.. then decided on the 2nd day I was gonna go for another 24 hours and etc..

Alot of water = alot of pissing

On the 3rd day 5 hours before my fast ended I drank a cup of black coffee which had me going to the bathroom and I shytted a huge hard log.. I haven't eaten in 3 days and that shyt came out like :wtf:
I couldn't believe that was still in my digestive system.. I felt fully cleansed after that

:mjlol:BRUH! Muscle loss, aka Catabolism, does not happen in major quantities in such a short fast. What you might think is muscle loss is really

a lack of muscle fullness due to a low sodium content in your blood. Not eating and not taking electrolytes means you will slowly lose sodium content, and sodium is what

holds water weight, giving you "size" per se. Next, you will deplete glycogen, a major component of feeding your muscles while you work (aka move), and glycogen depletion

leaves you looking mad flat as well. Check any low-carb dieter and see how sucked the fukk up they look.

The major caveat though is muscle memory is greater than all of that. Whatever you thought you lost during a fast will come back in very little time once you resume consumption

of food. Your muscles will not disappear, though you may feel a tad bit weaker during the first few fasts. Muscle loss to a serious degree is bro science. Don't believe the bullshyt.

I found the best drink to have while on this fast was coffee and seltzer water with mineral/sodium

Seltzer water literally took away my hunger and gave me a feeling of fullness because of the carbonation, also cleans out my system.. best drink I recommend during this long period of fasting
