i just find it interesting that in a time period where the US is quickly becoming a surveillance state with questionable laws being put in place everyday, that a string of gun related incidents has broken out perpetuating the debate of gun control.
This statement is so vague that it could probably be true of any country in the world at any time in the last 150 years.

How many countries in the last 150 years have had the technological capability of becoming a surveillance state :why:

All of them nikka.

Surveillance = Watching and Listening. All you need is at least one eye and one ear...

It's an emotional response...so I pretty much understand it.

The leftist argument says that if 3,000 people die drowning in swimming pools every year (which is true btw), then the answer is to either ban swimming pools or ban water...whichever is easier.

people are outraged now but it wont last

we will never ban guns in America what we can and should do is put more restrictions on weapons and who can posses them

also be able to track gun sales and if you run a store and its either constantly getting robbed or your guns are constantly used in crimes you should lose your license

but you will never take our guns its a part of the American culture

I'm so tired of hearing this dumbass analogy. :snoop:

Swimming pools are designed for people to swim in, drowings are usually accidental. Assault weapons are designed to kill people (or animals). They have no other purpose. There's a difference there.

LOL who cares what the "purpose" is, and that's not for you to decide for everyone any way.

While your purpose may be to "kill" my purpose may be to "protect." If protecting myself results in a "kill" then so be it, just as if you go swimming in a pool and end up drowning, then so be it.

Give it up, you'll get gay marriage legalized nation wide before you get rid of the 2nd amendment.

This is so true, why are these idiots always looking for a quick an easy simple fix for a problem that is more complex than what they make it out to be. Even if you ban guns altogether people are still going to use other ways to kill other people. As for people asking what do we need weapons of war for, just in case we ever need to overthrow the government you dumb fukk, If our forefathers were still alive I bet this government would probably label them as terrorists, what a goddamn shame. I'm sure their rolling in their graves right now too.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people it's that simple. There's millions of gun owners who don't go out and do this shyt. Guess what, if a criminal wants to get a gun, he's gonna break the law and get one illegally. U take away the gun, ok then what? Does that cure the deranged individual who murders in the first place? Does that stop the murders from happening? Ok, u take away the killing method but what if in the absence of a gun he makes a bomb? If a killer stabs ppl to death would their be a knife banning discussion across the country? I think banning guns is a stupid solution when u really break it down. The truth is humans r fukking crazy and it's in mans nature to kill. We need to stop sociopathic behavior at the source. And no I don't own a gun and probably never will.

Honestly, how many grown people are you gonna stab to death? I would think after the first few you're gonna get tired.

Banning guns is a great solution for ending mass shootings.
That said we need a multistep approach involving health care.
It's funny you bring up "knives" a lot of knives are illegal already. There was also a stabbing spree last week and no one died from what I've read. Knives and firearms aren't even remotely comparable. No ones making going to make a _ so you can stop that now. The only major _ I'm aware of was okc and that whole storyline is very questionable if you've ever looked into it. I hope you think about what I've taken the time to type.
