:salute: All good b..I think critics have a certain bias against directors and Zach Snyder is one of them..I think it's less about DC and more to do with Snyder, I really think SS will get good reviews

Oh I agree wholeheartedly with that. Snyder, Bay, and a few others just don't vibe with them. And I get it for some things and don't for others. 300? Don't get it. Sucker Punch? Completely get it.

I'm gonna speak honest here in general beyond DC vs Marvel stuff

Ever since I first saw a Rotten Tomatoes score pop up in a tv ad, I knew the website would turn in to a tool from which to promote ignorance and complacency. RT could easily just project the average rating in bold colored font but instead they only use the 6/10+ aggregate which is valueless.

Not even only talking on the consumer side, when production deals start including minimum RT scores then all hope is lost for the industry unless the site is shut down. The movie industry should not be taking ANY ques from the video game industry.:snoop:

It's like that Jessica Chobot chick on Nerdist, always got something slick to say about DC (aside from Wonder Woman). I wish these folks would just be honest with their bias and KIM.

I would never deny I like DC more than Marvel, then again I'm an adult who can own up to shyt and still enjoy both properties :yeshrug:

Deep down, as much as I have watched Marvel and DC movies unbiased, Marvel deep down is scared of competition being developed and forced to step their game wayyyyy up. BvS is the second film of the DCEU, and they (the bribed critics) are doing anything they can to prevent a legit Superhero universe from challenging Marvel in quality. The Marvel films, for so long, had no competition and their quality goes from :guilty: to :obama: , and it's not consistent. The reason why I used to support them blindly is because, for so long, comic book films were considered a joke back in the 90s.

Now, in the eve of Captain America: CW, the third and final Cap film of the series, Marvel knows that they have to deliver on that level or higher from now on. They know with Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Batman, and so on in the horizon, a half assed effort can't be protected, not even from the fanboys and critics. Look what happened to Marvel when DC came in the animated DVD game and quality came in....

Marvel is scared of that situation happening to their bread and butter called the MCU that brings in hundreds of millions of dollars per year. Only time will tell that DC will come in and start to deliver quality like their animated DVDs.

Very good analysis Wild self and that's what I was getting at with my point. Again I want to be clear, my Payola statement was only to say studios do things behind close doors. I'm not saying Disney is writing people checks but I'm sure they are giving perks (Campea Red Carpet, Exclusive Interviews etc) as an example and again I'm not even saying Campea is paid off but just giving an example. I'm sure WB and others do it as well. But I do feel Disney is trying to monoplize the game and they are doing a great job (Marvel, Star Wars even Zootopia and soon Jungle Book). I can't hate on them for having amazing properties but I agree with you point that they would rather have smooth sailing then have Competition breathing down there necks.

Competition is suppose to make you want to make better movies. Genesis dropped and litteraly punched Nintendo in the mouth. Sonic was Legendary. What did Nintendo do? Drop one of greatest systems ever with Super Nintendo. All Marvel has to do is continue making films that people enjoy and they will be fine but it's clear they are a little nervous about DC grabbing hold and splitting those dollars. And remember DC litterally used a cheat code and skipped over 4 solo films and got right to Batman V Superman with Justice league right around the corner. But watch out if any of the Justice League movies have a Nolanesque quality. I will be there for 'Civil War" like I am for most Mavel movies but I will be fair in my review. Just like I was with "Iron Man 3" when a lot of people was trying to say it was great when it's not seeing "Iron Man 1" on any level.

:dead:

unsubstantiated conspiracy rumors from upset DC fans make it clear Marvel is nervous

oh lord its too much :dead:

Man it's no different than Nintendo or Genesis, Wal Mart or K Mart or Target. Circuit City or Best Buy or Amazon. Net-Flex killed Blockbuster and they had 9,000 stores globally and had the video market on smash for 2 1/2 decades. Every company fears competition.

but where is this proof other than conspiracy theory rumors from DC stans who refuse to believe that people may just have a different opinion? your basis for their "fear" is from upset people who are having trouble facing the reality that people have different opinions on film then them.

if you want to go into fear the only company that has actually shown any signs of fear is WB/DC being that they moved their date for BvS once they found out Civil War was dropping the same time

if we are going to say somebody is scared can we try to go on some facts and not twitter users throwing shyt at the wall trying to figure out why people didnt like BvS as much as they did
