You're arguing 2 different thingsBeat it on whatever the hardest mode was at the beginning and currently doing a Heaven or Hell run so take that how u want it
It was meant for replays. Things like Nero's options taking a big jump when you first beat the game, or Dante's progressive unlocking of some minor advanced options like the ability to go into a mission without anything equipped.
The game seems to do a better job of remixing enemy encounters throughout the different difficulties too, so it keeps things interesting.
The game has more than 15 hours worth of content because of higher difficulties, bloody palace, completionist (sp) which is what devil may cry is known for, yes
but as far as just the main story, no it is not 15 hours worth. You paying it on the hardest difficulty is your fault, thats not the default difficultly. Some people might not be able to even beat it on anything higher than normal, that doesnt make the game infinite.
