I remember reading those Easy Rawlins series all through high school.

And as far as Denzel being too old to play the role there's some more recent books in the series where Easy is older and I think he could pull it off

As much as I want to like his son, I think he'd have nowhere near the charisma playing the role as his dad does.

Yea I try to stay positive when talking about him but he's pretty average. Which is ok cuz plenty of white actors are average and get roles out the ass but yea he's average imo
