Yeah. I binged it during the beginning of the pandemic. There was one episode I think I'm season one or 2 where I saw his name come up in the credits and I had to research what his role was. The episode did feel tighter in terms of storytelling than the others. That's when I found out Singleton had him come on as a consultant and a writer.I picked up a copy of one of Mr. Mosely's newer books, Debbie Doesn't Do It Anymore, & it looks like a good read so far. Have you seen his work on Snowfall? He wrote a lot of season 2, which is probably why the storytelling was so tight.
I've been reading his Leonid Mcgill series, but I kinda feel off and still gotta finish the last book. I've read damn near everything he's written up until the last 7-10 years or so.
