It depends, but going to a socioeconomic cesspool that you understand very little of is very difficult. Mind you we have bandits in our country whom the gvt has failed to tame. I believe they are only sending 1k Kenyan troops which isn't enough in my opinion. This is going to be guerilla warfare , not a typical war.
Haitian gang members will be able to easily hide amongst the locals and ambush these Kenyan troops.
