Developer claims ‘many’ studios are asking Xbox to drop mandatory Series S compatibility

I wonder if they can do a refresh and do it similar to Sony where the only difference is a disk drive. Is it really hampering development like that?

But no problem continuing to support the PS4 though, right? Bossa Studios dev the makers of the resource intensive Surgeon Simulator 2 and the upcoming I Am Fish.
