he's more methodical and doesn't waste movements like Gus - it' works for Gus so not bad talking his style.

Anthony plants alot more to ensure he gets power, that doesn't make him slower

And like I said. Planting and being flat footed is going to be disastrous against a guy who cuts angles and strikes as versatile and fluid as Gus.

Yeah, I don't know how he'll do carrying 220+ into a fight with a guy like Cain. And Cain FIGHTS around his natural walking weight. It's damn near a mismatch on paper, to be honest (just like SIlva/GSP was a mismatch on paper).

It's just a bad matchup from every angle. I don't see Joe Silva or Dana White selling out either of his only two male cash cows (Heel Jones or Mexican Velasquez. No, McGregor doesn't count yet. And the jury's still out on Weidman) like this. Not gonna happen.

Gus is a great boxer with excellent movement for his size. Jones' fight today with DC shows he can't strike with great boxers. He'd rather throw kicks, clinch and wrestle. Jones won't be able to clinch Gus like he did DC. He'll eat combos all day if he doesn't improve his boxing.

thats the beauty of mma you can hide your flaws with being stronger in other areas of your game i.e throws kicks clinch wrestling
