Yep, gotta give him props & realize his greatness & yes your comparison to floyd is spot on but the floyd hate is way stronger at this point. Gus may have a chance if they fight again but gus has a lot of cardio problems & honestly his cardio cost him the belt the first time. It won't happen in 2015 but maybe in '16 he can move up to HW because honestly from a viewership standpoint I don't wanna see jones fight anyone in else in his division after the gus rematch.

Don't see this happening. Cain could probably cut to about 220-225 if needed (I heard that he doesn't really cut for fights), but Jones looks like a fatass at 225-230, so I'm not exactly sure if that'll work out. It's a lot like the Silva/GSP superfight, which wasn't ever going to happen largely because Silva is just way bigger than GSP ever was.

He could easily bulk up muscle mass. IDK about his chicken legs tho

Gus throws more combos/strike, but Rumble is lightening quick with hands and feet. Gus will use the distance and might catch Rumble or use non-strikes to finish him. But Rumble can easily end Gus's night.

This. The gap between Jones and Gus's hands isn't as wide anymore. They're still not close but it's not such a big advantage as before. Especially since Jones will have months to continue to improve in that area if the rematch is to be scheduled

Jones for some reason loves to fight to his opponent's strengths which is why I think he barely tried fighting from a distance and took it straight to a clinch.
