Defend Thibs out of bounds play calling for me.

I want a good laugh
Was it the best playcall? No. But his options were limited. Noah is completely useless off the ball, there was no Gasol, no Gibson, Mirotic was playing a like bytch, Rose couldn't handle/shoot the ball properly. It shouldn't have even come down to that one play, like I said above it was only the last domino to fall. Rose missed his last 10 shots - fukk a playcall.

Some of that shyt you've been blaming him for is downright pathetic. You don't know how lucky you've got it compared to the rest of the league.

I have to tip my hat to this team man, because they fought tooth and nail to get back into this game. It's painful to watch them constantly fall behind only to fight all the way back... but then I realize why they fall behind, and I get hot because it really could be minimized.

The Bulls came out and closed the lead and the gap in the 3rd. The starters got it going, cut the lead to 4. Then the Cavs went small... and for some reason, Thibs decided to leave Mirotic out there on Iman Shumpert. Lebron sees this, and knows that he'll exploit this matchup and they literally ran pick and roll with Bron/Shump every time down. It was horrible, and it completely took the wind out of the sails for Chicago to close the quarter.

Why not just put Snell in for Mirotic there? I don't understand it at all, and I don't think anybody can explain why you wouldn't want to match up defensively with them when they are clearly picking at a weakness and it's working.
Place all the blame on the coach for not putting out a D-League player brehs.

Just like I thought. You can't justify it, and you sound like a damn fool.

Let's get more detail so you can continue to make a fool out of yourself...

-2 minutes to go in the game... Bulls down 5... 3 seconds on the shot clock... the Bulls off of an inbounds play, pass the ball to Noah? Why? Explain what logical sense this makes when Jimmy, Dunleavy (who had it going) and Rose are on the floor who can get a better shot than Noah. And you know what? The same thing happened in Game 4 with 1 second on the shotclock. The Bulls in bounded the ball to Noah, who didn't even know the time on the clock. So obviously this is something that they work on and practice (or don't idk, cause they look like shyt inbounding the ball)

-Down by 2 with 47 seconds left, plenty of time on the shot clock... Jimmy takes a 3 falling out of bounds? Why was this even the play? The Bulls had them in the penalty and plenty of time left to get a play at the basket. You get fouled and you possibly tie the game.

-Down 4 with 20 seconds left, Noah catches the ball, and throws a backdoor pass to Jimmy who's not open at all. Turnover. Why?

And the last 2 were plays that came out of timeouts. To term it like this..."Was it the best play call? No"... is hilarious to me. It wasn't the best playcall, it was probably the worst possible play call you could make in all of those scenarios.

He wouldn't be a rotational player on any of the playoff teams.
Clippers, Memphis, Blazers, Milwaukee, Brooklyn, Celtics

If he was actually utilized and developed properly from October he could fit into any of those rotations. Thibs never gave him anything near a consistent role unless injuries forced him

I honestly don't know wtf happened, but that shot Jimmy took was early in the shot clock... and even tho he looked to be open, he was off balance and falling out of bounds.

Noah was actually finishing tonight he just had some costly turnovers and missed that crucial rebound :snoop:

He threw that bounce pass to dunleavy jr on that fast break for no reason :why:

With Rose standing right next to him... instead of giving the PG the ball, he throws the ball to the cameramen

You're putting an unreasonable amount of accountability on Thibs and you wanna talk about justification?

That's not going into detail - that's blatantly selecting three plays that you've twisted into blaming Thibs' playcalling:

one of which opened up Butler for a open shot - he didn't need to take that three, there was still room to go baseline because clearly the play was designed to get him open, not necessarily to take a 3. Butler just hit TWO 3-pters near the end of the 4th quarter, so both realms of possibility exist that Thibs either wanted him to take that 3 because he had just made two over the last three possessions or he left it up to Butler to take the shot that he wanted.

one of which Butler took too long to come back around the pick after losing James. It was a risky play, especially with 3 secs on the shotclock, but it was necessary if Thibs thought a catch-and-shoot situation would be better than Butler just hoisting up a shot with Bron draped all over him.

And one of which that wasn't executed properly. Miss-timed pass by Noah and Butler didn't cut at the appropriate time to receive the pass. Carlisle often runs this play to catch the player marking the inbounds pass out of position with a two-man combination of Monta/Parsons/Dirk.

Rose missing his last 10 shots, with that troubled wrist also played a part in what plays were called as well.
