Only thing I'm worried about is kirk eating up 30 minutes when he giving us absolutely nothing and dunleavy being on the floor when he off and getting burned on defense.

As far as niko, he got hot from 3, and could do the same exact damage at sf. Makes no sense how some are making this major disparity between the 3 and the 4 when all it is, is can niko knock his shots down from distsnce. Taj defense rebounding and low post presence is needed we can't can him. Niko needs to knock his shots down so he can stay on the floor and contribute.

man, I'm guessing noah don't play the last game, but as shytty as he's been most of the season, he should be the one coming off the bench. and if they are worried about losing his defense, start taj in his place.

and niko playing SF, should be dead. obviously he excels in his natural position of PF, and that point has been proven anytime he gets significant time at the PF position.

also, snell rell was broke most of the game, but he did have a couple of impressive drives with strong finishes at the rim in garbage time. which is something hinrich wouldn't be able to do regardless. and since hinrich's primary position these days is SG, there is absolutely no reason he should be ahead of snell rell on the depth chart.

The more I think about it, the more the 2k comparison isn't a good one.... That applies for trades...

It's not like Pau and Gibson have to get used to playing with each other....or Noah and Mirotic...Noah will rack up assist while Mirotic finds easy points...

I think it makes too much sense to not be taken into consideration..

noah and pau have proven most of this year, that they aren't a good combination on the court together.

Breh, MDJ is top 10 in 3PT % and rarely makes mistakes on the court. His defense is severely underrated. He doesn't do anything eye-popping, but his length allows to contest almost any shot on the wing. Plus his spacing makes the entire offense work. We struggled without him earlier in the year.

Dunleavy gets too much shyt. Without him, we would have been swept by the Wizards. Playing starter minutes but making a bench salary. He didn't even sign up for his role.

edit:
He's 14th in 3pt %. My bad.

Niko clearly thrives as a 4, it isnt the same when hes at the 3. He loses his advantage on the perimeter. And when hes at the 3, its not like there is room around the post when you have Taj/Noah or Taj/Pau in the game. He becomes a lot easier to guard.

Against a team like Washington, he presents more problems if they are forced to put Nene/Humprhies on him rather than Piru/Porter. Same thing against Cleveland. You want him taking advantage of Love/Thompson, instead of letting Shump matchup on him, or worse yet Bron.

Your only seeing it from 1 side. What he gains in disadvantages on the perimeter we lose on rebounding and low post defense, both areas taj help us greatly in.

In some circumstances he should get some time at the 4, but our roster is our roster. I said in the beginning of the season since we signed pau and brought niko over we should have traded taj. But team don't do shyt , didn't do shyt, now we got taj and Niko getting in each other way, and if they are not played right, it could cost us a series.

But niko has to knock his shots down, whether he at the 3 or 4. A position shouldn't have any bearing on niko knocking down outside shots being set up for him. And this the only way this works. Unless thibs gets bold and sits noah and play him minimal minutes, which we know he won't do.

at first look it seems like both rose + niko are our x factors goin into these playoffs ..both will carry us as well as they play ( can maybe add dunleavy 2 that list but in a lot smaller portion)

niko has to be hittin his shots .. and rose shouldnt be tryin to do to much , if he is lookin for people and can use his speed to set up others which he is showing he can do when he wants .. we will be straight

But At the end of the day it wont matter how well either plays if thibs dont manage his rotations right
