Series X for Destiny 2. All of the expansions on gamepass so im tryin to give the series another shot.
Word. I didn’t rock with the first destiny much because I didn’t have a steady squad to roll with to get the most out of it. I’ve enjoyed the hell out of destiny 2 and was loving it when the coli squad was super active
Yea on Xbox series X this update was downloaded smooth.
Thought I had the PlayStation update but it was for the PS4 version. Had to go to the store to get the ps5 version then my fukkin storage was full because I had duplicate PS4 versions of every game that got updated

Select the circle next to the download button to check which version you’re downloading before downloading. It’s stupid but once you check that you’ll be good to go. They deleted a ton of missions and planets and restructured the whole game. When I logged on it automatically gave me a ton of trophies which I assume are for missions that aren’t available anymore.Crazy crazy crazy next gen upgrade it's like a whole new game

My son saw me playing and wanted to give it a shot so he started a new file from scratch and I saw the completely different intro. I didn’t watch the whole thing but you’re right, it’s not the city mission anymore. Game finally has great load times and more than anything, the whole experience feels smooth as hell. The improved frame rate finally makes overall movement especially on the right stick feel the way a shooter should feel. I actually have to turn the sensitivity down a little bit to compensate.

Funny thing is i been running at 144 fps on pc all this time and i couldn't play this on consoles at 30 fps because it felt unplayable

Yeah, the Red War campaign got pulled, and some of the locations in that storyline got vaulted. I think it's a better experience for new players, since there's less of an on ramp to get to the point where you can start doing current stuff.

I fukked up and haven't leveled up any of my characters. I worked my way up to a 1200 and jumped in Iron Banner and it's taking forever to get kills with the symmetry or any non cheap gun. Took me 4-5 matches to get all my symmetry kills for the iron banner quest.
Fam.... Iron Banner is for leveled up characters. Light Level matters there.
If you 1200, you gonna be fighting people that are 1250-60 and barely damaging them. I wouldn't even step into Iron Banner until you are at least 1230 or so...
