Fam.... Iron Banner is for leveled up characters. Light Level matters there.

If you 1200, you gonna be fighting people that are 1250-60 and barely damaging them. I wouldn't even step into Iron Banner until you are at least 1230 or so...

Oh I know. That's why I was saying I fukked up but not having my characters leveled up beforehand. I'm already at the point of the quest where I need precision kills and already finished all four bounties of for my main character. I think I only need 10 headshots and got three already so might as well finish it.

For the scout rifle kills, use talons of the eagle, I believe that is the iron banner scout rifle if you haven't upgraded symmetry or night watch

Hand cannon kills use crimson or last word, unless you're good with hand cannons

I'm using the seventh carbine for the precision kills, horror story or braytech that upgraded will do too, as well as forward path, I'm sure by now scathelocke, tigerspite, and valkaydn are sunsetted, by would work too. Or join the herd and use gnawing hunger

Yeah, the Red War campaign got pulled, and some of the locations in that storyline got vaulted. I think it's a better experience for new players, since there's less of an on ramp to get to the point where you can start doing current stuff.

From a value stand point I don’t like that they removed stuff. I actually liked that campaign a lot. They could have created a legacy playlist and kept it moving. Don’t really see the need to completely remove it from the game.

I agree, from a value standpoint.

But, from a user experience and quality of life standpoint, I get it too. They were locations that were going mostly unplayed and unused (and hated by most of the players in the case of Mercury). Also, the size of the game was getting absurd. shyt was damn near 150GB, and was only going to keep growing. Something had to give at some point.

And the onramping thing is a real problem. Getting yourself from the opening to current expansion takes forever, and is confusing as fukk. We even get folks who aren't new that have just missed a season or year or two checking in in here to figure out where to start.

That being said, fukk all that, I'm tryna play that mission on the Almighty where you have to avoid getting incinerated by the sun again. That would be piff on PS5.

As a relatively new player aka since july i feel robbed. They took away soo many things,weapons planets and quest never got to complete.....

Beyond light took away not added this is beyond silly..anybody that brought the expansions after beyond light should sue. Not buying another expansion from theae folks,let me play what i paid for

All i do is play legendary strikes to buy some of the missing exotics. I Only play crucible since i've improved greatly

You should play gambit too, they got some decent weapons you missing out on

Also, be patient, its only the first season who know what weapon drops they will add in later seasons

No i play gambit ,but only to complete stasis quest. Too many idiotic teamates...dudes seem to forget to deposit the motes just shooting like idiots and lose all their motes.

On top of all that, motherfukkers acting like you can ONLY deposit if you've got 15 motes. Or, better yet, sitting on 11-12 motes when they know the invasion portal is up.

Solo Gambit is the reason why I finally understand that there's no matchmaking for Raids.

If you can't get three other dummies to play an objective as simple as Gambit's, there's ZERO hope for getting through the first encounter of a raid.

But that being said, when you solo and playing against a 4stack and win

tbh you can dominate a game solo with the right build and most players are trash so it evens out...

nah they had too many destinations making the gaming bloated and unnecessarily large. shyt was like 100+ gigs at some point. Plus the world is empty when mfs are so scattered in 50 locations doing random shyt, they should be timed and disappear IMO.

Unlike Gambit, all there is to do in a raid is to complete the raid. No "competition" aspect, either. If they suck, boot them and get someone else.

And yes there were a lot of planets so let nikkas enjoy what they paid for dont remove it just because.

I got to europa is empty,cosmodrone is empty bruh like really it the two new planets or locations they added are just as empty...
On top of that a nikka wanna buy a prism or a shard but u need materials from a planets that are no longer there really??? I could go on

shyt like that had me looking for my headset one time so I could cuss a motherfukker out. I'm usually not one to get worked up over a game, but they really do go out of their way to make it evident that you need to bank ASAP.

Yeah, since I don't play all that much these days, my Gambit trips are also primarily to complete bounties or quest steps, but I at least try not to be a detriment to any team.

Actually, I haven't played Gambit since Beyond Light launched, but I imagine with them streamlining it to kill the need for the specialized armors, it's probably a little easier to run against a stack of you're good enough, and your teammates are competent.

That rush of getting a last second DPS burst to knock off a squad that thought they were gonna luck up on squashing randoms, though.
