Forsaken is the best Destiny has been since the end of D1. If you enjoyed that, you'll probably be good. If you can get a deal on the pass too, Black Armory just came out, which is a bunch of other stuff to do for new good weapons.
I don’t think the pass was included. Is a lot of the Arcadium still on?

So forsaken is on sale for $30. Is it worth getting back into? Last time I played there was a serious lack of content.
With forsaken you get

The regular campaign which is long enough, too long in my opinion

Warmind campaign
Curse of Osiris campaign
Forsaken campaign
Its a good deal

very big. didn't know if I should post it in here or create a thread so I created a thread :russ:
Shiiiiit I almost made a thread too. Depending on what comes out of the Kotaku article I might just take it there....
Won't mean shyt I'm if the internal command at Bungie itself is still shytty as ever.
That's the thing. Bungie and Activision have been rocky over Destiny since before the first game even released. There's always been a struggle over how things should roll out, play, or be handled otherwise

This is either the best thing to happen to Destiny with Activision leaving or the final curtain call for Destiny now that Activision will no longer reel in Bungie's supposed shyt like Microsoft did with Halo. There's really no other way it can go.

The streaming of the last forge event was a HUGE clusterfukk and everyone associated with that debacle had to be feeling some time of way. BA in general has been such a steep letdown from Forsaken. That content wasn't gonna be topped of course, but if your DLC model is supposed to be revolving around a steady, healthy support to the community with new events, content, game modes, etc then BA is a joke. There's more timegated shyt in Destiny than in my mobile games :mjlol:

I haven't touched BA yet.
Forsaken was incredible. I can't imagine them topping it.

I'm on the boat that Microsoft had to get Bungie's shyt together and push Halo out. Low key feel Activision sees the writing on the wall and hit Bungie with a :hubie:.

Black Armory was meh for me. I was a little burnt out from the Not Forgotten grind, but there's only so many times I can throw a ball or stand on a plate before enough is enough.

I'll just put it like this instead of getting into a long-winded explanation:

They felt the same way so they didn't even try.

Pretty sure everyone else who's played it can confirm the veracity of that statement as well :yeshrug:

So bungie has been the worse of the two parties compared to activision? Was Microsoft really doing that much to keep them from acting up like EA or 2K do?

Its honestly up for debate. It was a rocky relationship from the start.

Its hard for anyone to say who's responsible for what or who made the worst decisions about this or that. The only knowns are circumstantials regarding Bungie and Activision. Bungie had Microsoft on its NECK about Halo. There was plenty of stress shown on Bungie's side about it, but there was no question that the product was A1. Bungie wanted out for a reason though. Then you've got Activision - people think Call of Duty, but that's also Diablo/Overwatch/WoW/etc. Not to say they're perfect at all, they've pushed out TRASH like Advanced Warfare and they'll repurpose a whole quality studio just to support one of their leading titles. Its easy to see how Activision could've been too controlling for what Bungie wanted to do. At the same time its just as likely that Bungie needed to have stronger guidelines in place to keep from over extending itself and wasting resources on bullshyt.

The odds of it being both though are low as fukk though considering how Destiny's been so all over the place even since the beta. If they're breaking up and Bungie is taking all the risk themselves, then either Bungie or Activision was right all along...

Didn't Bungie receive $100m investment from Tencent a year or so back? I wouldn't be so hyped to put this all on Activision, their new Chinese overlords might be no better
