Any XB1 brehs trying to get Luna's Howl before the season ends? Started wild late, but could use some non-scrubs with mics to try to finish the quest, then rank.
The thing with the raid is, I can't stand the puzzle elements of it, and it makes it even worse that it absolutely requires a full team of 6 all committed to actively communicating about the game and sticking through it to the end. It's entirely subjective and definitely not 50% (more 20% lol) but raiding is a key part of the Destiny (with regards to PVE anyway), it's what separates it from any other game on console (& even PC). That being said, I personally don't love this raid, Bungie did their thing but having 2 of the 4 encounters easily glitched/cheesed (including the main boss of all things) turns what should be a fun challenge to a procession, I get no satisfaction. Shattered Throne has been more fulfilling in that regard.
Lucked out getting 1K Voices early on, minimal interest in running it much more. In contrast I ran Kings Fall & Wraith of the Machine untold times and would have no problem playing them now, God tier gaming. I just hope the raid lair's decent.
As someone who has only raided in D2 (I'm assuming you didn't play D1) I can understand why you feel this way. Leviathan was , while Last Wish while much improved has been trivialised by cheeses and a convoluted final phase. I assure you all the raids in D1 were crack status which is why it's so revered as an activity,The thing with the raid is, I can't stand the puzzle elements of it, and it makes it even worse that it absolutely requires a full team of 6 all committed to actively communicating about the game and sticking through it to the end.
Shoot even with the coli brehs, I remember a few times we had to tell brehs to kill some of the side conversations because on some puzzles we couldn't hear eachother calling it when it was time to move from one section to the next. Every mode needs to be playable with randoms and little communication. I get what they were going for, but a team of 6 is difficult to get together, especially for such a long commitment.
All that considered though, like I said, after having beaten the first raid, I really don't feel like it's that much of an important piece of the game, and the reward certainly didn't make any of it worth it for real. The best items I've gotten in Destiny I've unlocked them by myself. If they wanted the raid to matter they should have made the payoff something incredibly significant.
Man I haven't touched this game since I got COD4, Yakuza 6, and RDR2.The Thunderlord quest will go away in a reset or two, it literally takes 20mins or so clearing a few lost sectors for an exotic/only HMG in the game, don't sleeop
Gambit is flames but my I agree, playing with randoms that ignore the basic mechanics is frustratingThey're 'super lairs' not fill sized rewards. In their words, smaller than Last Wish but bigger than SoS. The outdoor element is giving me WotM vibes so I'm kinda hyped for it.
I don't really like Gambit (mostly because you get paired with people who don't know basic mechanics like kill envoys and bank in 5s &10s) but I'm going for that new gun. It basically amounts to play 40 Gambit matches, plan on playing 2-4 matches a day and hopefully be done with it in a fortnight
Yeah, it's kinda lame, but throwing hammers at trash mobs is pretty damn fun.I just got the new Sunbreaker tree and boy is this shyt trash.
Forsaken is the best Destiny has been since the end of D1. If you enjoyed that, you'll probably be good. If you can get a deal on the pass too, Black Armory just came out, which is a bunch of other stuff to do for new good weapons. So forsaken is on sale for $30. Is it worth getting back into? Last time I played there was a serious lack of content.
