I'm grinding for my warlock on the blue now. Question. Once I get to the purple will that gear drop at 400 n if I masterwork the gear it goes to 405? I'm gonna start my hunter and titan this weekend also
Mods will take it to 405 not masterwork

So, I realized that I think I'm done until Forsaken comes out. I hopped on and tried doing some of the Solstice armor shyt, and I just couldn't bring myself to be motivated, knowing that new shyt is coming in a few weeks that will be more powerful, and will either A: be less of a grind, or B: more entertaining to pursue. I might hop on tomorrow to try to find a way to get a Spindle, but other than that........I think I'm good.

Been havin fun grinding the solstice armors but before the update I took a break :manny:

There’s a lot of content tho and I like that I always have something to do when I log in but this, like any other game, isn’t nothing you can play continuously without gettin burned out and I’ve been playin pretty much only destiny for the last few years

Finally got the raid done a few times too, that shyt was way easier than what cats was making it seem like before.

Only problem with leaving and coming back is how fukkin gay people are in lfg/ recruitment... minimum 360 to do a goddamn normal nightfall ( which should have matchmaking anyway but that’s another story :hubie:)

370 for an easy ass normal raid I was running it after my second time better than dudes who been doin the shyt since release :mjlol: You good at one of them, you good at all of them.

Yeah, the draeback with LFG is that a lot of these motherfukkers take the game way too damn serious.

90% of groups I play with that have 'Must have Gally!/Must have Emblem!/ 500 clears!' are normally ass and I end up effectively carrying them :snooze:

too much fire droppin next month anyway
Absolutely

Spiderman, and the games I'm currently playing will hold me down til Soul Calibur 6 and Red Dead the month after

The content looks pretty good for year 2 and all that but it's out at a bad time (and a bad price)

They just announced that the Redrix Claymore pulse rifle that was supposed to be the hardcore PVP seasonal reward, will have an exact carbon copy named Redrix Broadsword that will be available to everyone via a quest in Forsaken. Bungie continues to shyt on it hardcore playerbase.

The people that invested time and energy into grinding for a weapon that they advertized would only be available for a limited amount of time have literally just been told their effort was for nothing.

Bungie's fear of making powerful and exclusive rewards will always hold this game back. You can't have a design philosophy that seeks to hand out everything to every player in a loot based game. Its ok to have stuff reserved reserved for those that are good or invest the time to get good/better.

It's ok not to have everything in a loot game. There should be a multitude of powerful items that reward certain aspects of the game and those invested in it.

This welfare and parity at all levels philosophy that they have is damaging in the long run because it waters down potential rewards and accomplishment as well as making a nikka ponder "what's the point?" before engaging with an activity/grind.

All I want to know is can we grind the strikes for better gear past 350? I haven’t played in a few months and I’m currently way down at 345 and don’t really care for the milestones

I think you might be overreacting a little bit. That beast ass hand cannon they showed off in the gameplay demo last week looks like it'll be this season's version of the Redrix Claymore.

All of us other people might have to wait till a season later to get a quest that gives us a bootleg version.

You can be over there with your Ralph Lauren, and other folks can be over there with their US Polo Association. You clown them for having knockoff shyt, they clown you for over investing. Everyone gets their own shyt at the end. Seems like a win for everyone involved.

As an average PvP player this is a BS movemove Bungie. I didn't get the Doctrine in D1 because I was ass at Trials and I was cool with that.

This participation trophy loot system is partially made D2 wack prior to Warmind, you'd think they'd have learnt from that, apparently not

The pinnacle crucilble rewards will be attained through quests moving forward.

Redrix's Broadsword actually has the potential of being better than Redrix's Claymore because it is the same archetype and kinetic slot, with the same outlaw+desperado perk combination, as well as being able to roll random barrel, sights and mag options, PLUS, it benefits from new mod systems in Forsaken.

Essentially, the people that put the time in and invested to grind for the Claymore, did so for an inferior version of the weapon, and an emblem.

how is this an acceptable philosophy for a loot game?

bungie has screwed over people that grinded out going into expansions literally every single time

whether its nerfing/removing perks altogether like final round, preventing exotics from being upgraded to the new power level ceiling entirely, modifying certain weapons specifically, misrepresenting the transfer rates on currency, or straight up putting equipment you already had behind a new wall and forcing you to grind all over again for shyt you already had...

everything is working as intended :mjlol: at this point its clear that they do it on purpose
