I'm kinda in the same boat. I don't really do trials, but I'm down to give it a shot. More interested in Raid and Nightfall.

I think the Nightfall modifier is Torrent this week, everyone enjoys that one. What sucks is it seems like every 2-3 weeks is Momentum in the Pyramidium

Rumor: New Destiny 2 Expansion Leaks On PSN, Adds New Enemy Faction

screens_2D00_610.jpg

An accidental PSN page going live has given details on Destiny 2's second expansion, titled Gods of Mars.

The listings have been deleted, but a reddit user with the curious name of GodsofMarsLeak grabbed a few screenshots of the the listing, which have now been deleted along with the account. The listing details the expansion by explaining that the guardian will be exploring the Frigid Vale of Mars. Guardians will go up against Charlemagne, who has imprisoned Rasputin after reawakening on Mars. Players are tasked with freeing Rasputin and defeating Charlemagne.

The PSN page states that a new enemy faction, but does not directly name them. Charlemagne's remnants are a good guess, considering he appears to be the main antagonist of the expansion.

New gear, story missions, bosses, co-op and competitive activities, and more are also listed for the Gods of Mars. You can read our review of Destiny 2's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, right here.

That's confirmed fake btw. That image was photoshopped to hell and back. You can even tell that the picture of the DLC is stretched. Sloppily at that.

Some of the stuff there may be true, but the page as a whole is filled with amateur hour photoshop stuff. The text is straight up lifted so the background color doesn't match the psn background. The picture images don't fit the margins. Even the ESRB rating picture isn't the same resolution as the rest of the page.

Jason Schreier (Kotaku) said the development for Destiny 2 was rebooted in 2016, and that in reality they only had around 16 months to make the game. No wonder this shyt is trash and so undercooked

Bungie is a mess regarding line and project management. D1 at launch also had several issues because it was the frankenstein child of last gasp rebooting, but at least, at its very core, D1 was a good game that just needed a bunch of quality of life and content drops. Yet, they didn't learn, and had to reboot development for the sequel again.

Feel likes it's a combintion of over ambition and guys still with the company full of bravado because they were with Bungie since Halo 3, so their word is golden.

The over ambition was apparent with an initial DLC plan that was unsuistainable by them, which resulted in the eververse being put into the game to give Activision their money as they switched to a longer DLC cycle.

The develooment of the game feels like its done in isolated fragments, where nobody is in communication with each other until a benchmark report to the "Halo Lords" is due, where they will decide whether or not to scrap an idea instead of consistent communcation from inception of ideas, to development and finally, implementation.
